Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HookSync ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Use of the service

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not use the Service to send malicious content, spam, or payloads that violate the rights of third parties.

2. Plans, limits, and payment

The Service is offered under the Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise plans as described on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Overages beyond your plan's event limit will result in a temporary pause of delivery (not ingestion) after a 24-hour grace period. You may upgrade at any time. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Refunds are not provided for unused time.

3. Acceptable use

You must not: (a) resell or sublicense access to the Service; (b) use the Service to deliver illegal content; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service; (d) exceed rate limits programmatically; (e) create multiple Free accounts to circumvent limits.

4. Intellectual property

The Service and all related software, documentation, and trademarks are owned by HookSync. Your data and webhook payloads remain yours. You grant HookSync a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

5. Uptime and SLA

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for the API and delivery worker on Pro and Enterprise plans. SLA credits are issued as account credit for the following month if we fall below the committed uptime. The Free and Starter plans have no SLA commitment. Status and incident history are published at /status.

6. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms with or without notice. Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days to allow export, then permanently deleted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HookSync's liability for any claim arising from the use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Warsaw, Poland.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms with 14 days' notice by email or in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
